Pocong mystery turns out to be teen prank

THE mystery behind the appearance of a pocong, a corpse-like ghost which has been haunting road users near Kampung Padang Temu in Malacca, was solved after one of the victims caught the “phantom”, reported Harian Metro.

The pocong, which has caused much fear, turned out to be a prank by a group of mischievous teenagers.

The pranksters were exposed when a victim, Abdul Rahim Abdul Majid, 51, caught the “wraith” when he was returning from work at around 1.30am.

Abdul Rahim had a shock when he reached the turning near a surau on his motorcycle and saw a white object floating from a huge tree.

“I had an uneasy feeling and thought for a while whether the object was really a pocong or not. So, I turned back and went towards the object.

“I found that it was only a telekung (prayer attire) that had been hung from the tree using a string,” he said.

Abdul Rahman said when he pulled down the telekung, he found that a pair of eyes had been drawn on the “head” with red paint and a polystyrene float was found inside it.

He took the telekung to the village council for action to be taken.

Meanwhile, the council met up with a group of teenagers who they suspected were behind the act and advised them not to repeat it.

Have sex between huge boulders

> Couples having sex between huge boulders at the beaches of Teluk Cempedak and Teluk Tongkang in Kuantan, Pahang, have raised the ire of visitors and nearby residents, wrote Harian Metro.

A businessman known as Yon, 40, said he often bumped into couples behaving indecently in public. Yon alleged that he had also captured a couple making love on his phone camera.

He said he photographed them having sex between two boulders at about 3pm recently when he was jogging near the beach.

Yon said he recorded four video clips which lasted seven minutes of the couple having sex so that he could show it to the authorities.

Before this, Harian Metro had reported that the beaches of Teluk Cempedak and Teluk Tongkang were a firm favourites with kaki skodeng (peeping Toms) who enjoy a free show of teenagers making love.

Im not commenting on the Pocong story but the other one:
"Yon said he recorded four video clips which lasted seven minutes of the couple having sex so that he could show it to the authorities."

Hello, recorded till you phone memory full, that is so not for showing to authority!!

The proper way would be:
1) Record for 2 min tops
2) Make your presence known afterward

No Running in the house!

How many times have we been told...and have told our children...

NOT to run in the house? Did we always listen? Do they listen? Not always.

Sometimes our seemingly futile efforts fail, and 'boo-boo's' happen.

Here is a little guy who didn't listen, and he got his own souvenir scars.

Perhaps he'll learn from his mistake. Maybe.....

Hazeline Snow Pot Luck

The potluck was supposed to be for the Block 5 roommates. Faie and Gina could make it, as for me? Well, It was also a mystery why I was there... memeriahkan majlis kot... hi hi hi

As usual, the hardest part of the planing was to get the agreeable time. Thus, the only time suitable for the majority was on Saturday morning at 10am!

When Hazel told me that she lives in Putra Height, arrogantly I told her that I dont need the map. I knew that place by heart...

Therefore I was a little bit perplexed when Sue said to meet her at Batu 3. Turned up that her Putra was somewhere in USJ / Sri Petaling.. And the Putra in my mind was Desa Putra in Wangsa Maju! Silly me!

The theme was green. By 10.30am there were only the host's family, sue's, ain's and myself.

FIne lah! Because everybody else were starving, we decided enough is enough.. and started the feast.

While the kids were busy playing...

The adults busy mencekik (gobbling)....

Pose tetap pose... No matter even the kid were crying in hunger!

Preparing for the group photo...

.. and I almost crushed that bony little girl behind me!

On the way back, i realised that there's a little herb garden in front of the house. Impressive!!! She had a green thumb after all.... That was before I realized I was admiring the neighbor's garden.. So, I turned to her patch....

only to be greeted by this!
Ahhhhhh..... It's Hazel alright! hi hihi..

Viva Las Vacas

Had a very impromptu lunch gathering. Started with the FB status update, then the lunch was planned. If we relied on the proper plan, this lunch would never happened.. something will come up.... heh heh.

Getting my and Ana's commitment was easy enough. Sharmi's was the toughest one because she's over occupied with businesses and four screaming kids.

Yus, on the other hand, was the wildcard... she could come or she could not.. depending on her students.

So we just go with the flow. I went out at 11.08am (the extra 8 minutes was for logging off from FB!)

Headed to the train station.

Design failure! Doesn't really cover you from the heat (or rain)..

Bangla on suicide mission.

Arrived Happy Garden station at noon. Ana picked me up and we headed to Las Vacas, the meat shop cum eateries. Details on their blog site at Not Las Vegas.

While waiting for Yus, which took the wrong turns, again and again, even though this was like her 50th time driving there; we made a pit stop at Ana's house..

Ooooooo.. stranger! B.A.D!!! Mommy, where are you? Taken 15 seconds before he cried. No kuci kuci with me okay, nice to see cannot hold!

and ohh btw, Ana, if you read this, I dont think you wrap up that Kindergarten story. hmmm...or was it? Too many distraction...

Cik Yus, Miss Yus, Miss Use, misuse and Ana? Dont misuse Miss Yus name okay!

We had these for appetizer. Though the look might look repulsive to some, the taste was good nonetheless :p

and oh, these too. Classic case of our eyes were bigger than our stomaches.

Misuse had this.

and Sharmi had this.

Whereas Ana and I had this... well, not sharing a plate; we had the same menu. It's silly to take the same picture twice no?

How was my pose? Is it nice?

No way I look like that !!!! D.E.L.E.T.E!

I need to learn to smile properly. Too much gums!

One with all in (for FB tagging).

Pit stop on my way back home.... stumbled upon someone with a rude t-shirt. What were they thinking wearing such thing in a mosque?

But not as rude/stupid as this one though:

Windows 1 & 2
========================

Never experienced these type of windows, which used 5¼ inches floppy.

Windows 3
========================

Remember WordPerfect and Lotus 1-2-3 (pre GUI era)?

Something like this:

Forget copy paste (or even mouse). Everything is manual...

Windows NT
========================

My favorite (back then) was NT 4.0. Well, except when the infamous blue-screen appeared.

The best feature ever was the 'net send' (pre IRC time). But of course afterward I found Talk (Unix 'chat' software)

Windows 95/98
========================

Crashes all the time! And you need to reinstall the OS using diskette (which were like 20 of them)

Windows 2000
========================

Another favorite of mine.

Windows Millennium Edition
========================

Never use this...

Windows XP
========================

Confusing at first, because of the GUI changes.

Windows Vista
========================

Currently what I'm using. Lousiest of all.. Everytime I did the updates/patches, I had to reboot the PC. Plus, the admin pop-up is so freaking annoying.

Windows Vienna
========================

They renamed it to Windows 7. Dont ask me...

Morphing + Flat Screen TV

No wonder Dubya is so quiet nowadays...

Inginkan sebuah lcd tv tetapi tidak mempunyai bajet mencukupi?

This is the solution....
