She was born on that day.
Los Banos, Los Alamitos or was it at the
Los Angeles? No, it was
Los Staq instead...
18 years passed by and the journey had shaped her into what I would know about her back then.
6694. Another major event were about to unfold. Two world's greatest buddy would meet and the friendship would flourished and would tested over times.
PPP-ITM. After the placement test, MSR and initial confusion, we were given freedom. So most of us headed for the Subang Parade.
On that bus stop did I saw a
'kerek' (vain) couple. Ignored them. But when we realised we had to fight over a seat, it was that moment that determined,
I was so going to hate her forever.
Who had thought 2 semesters later, we would be classmates.
Noraini Azmi aka Not, introduced us. Amid the formal handshake, the hostility remained.

What happened next was history (or the truth; I have forgotten what had happened actually :p ).
I spend a week at her place over the sem break, she tought me how to drive... next to a bendang (muddy paddy field)... in her mum's brand new wira (what were we thinking :p)
We did that stupid fortune telling on how many offspring we would get. 10 years down the line, she's on the right track achieving that numero 5. Last I heard,
Not had achieve her target too. And me? Well, the fortune told that I would have none.... so yeah, I was the first to achieve that target.

We flew together to
Lax. The picture above was taken at
Taipei, during the 8 hr delayed over the
typhoon.
We said Sayonara at
O'hare. Left the friendship to fate and hoped for the best. She flew Southwest to Kansas City, MO and I flew Southeast to Bloomington, IN. Well, actually i was stranded at
Terre Haute because of the
blizzard (Great, typhoon and blizzard, what next?).
This friendship was meant to be.
After years not seing each other, we're actually getting closer. I owed her my life during my turbulance year there.
There, she met her soulmate, and I was happy for her :)

She had Yasmin, a beautiful house, a fullfilling career, and a lovely husband. I thought we would never see each other again.
We were separated again in 1999. She stayed and I had to go.

But somehow, her heart is still with Malaysia. So, in a haste, she packed her belongings and back. (Lucikly she remembered to pack her hubby too).
*Sheshhh, now I dont have a reason to go to the US anymore ;p *Anyway, I was more than happy to have her here. With three additional family members, and oh-i-lost-count-how-many-bibik-she-fired, the friendship grows.
She was my everything, sister, confidant, friend, mother, financial dis-controller, retail therapist, fashion advisor (NOT! I stopped wearing clothes she 'advise' me to buy after 2-3 wears :p)
For thank, I thank her. Im glad I took this journey with you.
-HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS- p/s: Faiz, dont hate me because im so creative. Go get your wife a diamond or something :p
