Sayonara Melbourne :(

Gosh.. Don't feel like going back. But all good things need to end. Bye Christine, bye Natalie, bye Ian, bye Matt... *sobbing* Hope to see you all soon. Next time, it would be holiday. No work..

The road to the Airport.. like me, it's gloomy

Departure hall. In my fav jacket. It's gonna be months (or years) till I got a chance to wear it again.

Nat n Me... She cried.. i cried.. heh heh

At the common lounge. Had my coffee with nat before we say goodbye.

Me being goofy.. tried to cheer up Nat

But of course, my lovely legs.. .

Airlines foods. At first, they served satay. Sentul's satays taste better (maybe because of the rats in Sentul) This is the nasi lemak. I just scooped 2 table-spoon and done with it. Too spicy + no appetite.

The breakfast. Croissant, cereals n fruits.. Again lost my appetite. Observe the cutlery, only the knife is plastic, how come? can use fork to stab also lah fool. and the drinking glasses and seramic plates.. just broke them and voila! instant weapon!

Wake up sleepyheads.. Im bored.. Do you think there's stewardess walking around ready to wrap warm blanky around you? fat chance! you'll even lucky if they even smile (sincerely) at you. That's why with MAS, i prefer to fly economy, the treatment is better. Business class sucks (for asian folks)..

The toiletries. L'Occitane. I like the Crabtree one better (the one I got on da way to Frankfurt--below). Complain a lot huh :p

Gasp! Fog in Malaysia? But then the acrid smell slapped me back into reality. It's the haze. What have I done! I shouldnt have left Melbourne...You're such an idiot...

Melbourne Photo Blog Part II

Williamstown Park. Hey Malaysians! No Haze :p
Williamstown Jetty. Yachts, yachts and yachts...

Williamstown Beach. With Melbourne metro at the background. The best part about this sea is the smell. There is no smell whatsoever, unlike Penang.

In Tasmania.. Not!. At the St Kilda's ferry terminal.

The tram.. Melbourne Port station.

The city of Melbourne from the funny looking bridge.t

Altona's Beach. There were 2 chicks bathing nude. Batal puasa. Oh boy, the water temp was freezin (they're insane!). And yeah, this beach smelled like typical beaches in malaysia.... fishy..

Natalie's Home

The forest near Natalie's home

That's the office at my back (refinery). @ Altona.

Ooppsss... One of those days. (I have to, it's buble-gum flavored ice-cream, can't get one in Malaysia. *excuses, excuses*)

Melbourne Photo Blog Part 1

The Yarra River. Doesn't emit those hideous smell like the Gombak river. Plus, it's pretty clear, could see the bottom.

The view from my room. It's the performing arts center next to the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria)

The other view from my balcony; the city view.

The Office. Most of my precious daylights were spend here (8am-6pm). When we were done, it's already dark. Curses!

The 'serious' meeting was taking place.

The Park near the Mosque. I went to the mosque and everybody stared suspiciously at me. So I just walked out.

There I was. Basking under the sun, after being chased out from the mosque.Skipped the Friday prayer and straight to the restaurant :p

Christine and myslef enjoying our gellatis after dinner @ one of the lygon's italian rest.

Spring in Melbourne

I just don't get it. We flew 8000 miles across the ocean, survived the gut wrenching bumpy rides, braved the 7 degree spring's chillness, just to end up in the Malay restaurant for 'buka puasa'? To add the salt, the meals are so-so only. WTF!! I'm so mad...

That was the first nite when we were here. By second nite onwards, I made a lot of excuses not to join them for another Asian food hunt.

So, I called Natalie to take me away (from them). She and myself then headed towards St. Kilda. Ohh my much I missed her.. Its been 10 years since I last saw her. She has shed a lots of kgs. Good. :) But her frail looks could not disguise the pain she is suffering. I hope she'll be getting better soon...

As for today, the plan is to meet Christine, Lusiana's sister. The resemblance is impeccable, albeit much younger. :p I tot I saw Cun2 when Christine was in KL last time.

So, crossing my finger, tonite dinner's would be splendid, like the weather here..

Till then - ta ta.
