Asia Trip: Hong Kong First Sino Experience Part 4

Final part - phew...

After shopping, straight to dinner.

We went to the same place like yesterday. Different restaurant though. Went upstairs and saw at least 3 male couples dating.. hmmmmm... hihihihi. Gay diorg suka pakai baju kotak2 kot...

The table next to us was very loud. In fact most Honkies speak like that.. Shouting alike. Like hello, fine dining, no need to shout can aa? SOme more respect peopel dating, later kenot proceed, they'll blame you :p

I had salmon spagetthi.. Wrong choice.. after 10 bites I already got jelak (full).

Che Yan choices is much better.. the fish was tender and delicious....

After dinner all of us meet for a coffee.

I introduced che yan + hubby to nad & elina... yeay...

The we go back to the island... Good night hong kong!

Our flight back home is at 3pm. In the morning we checked out and headed stright to the airport. But alas, we cannot check in yet.. too early.. so we deposit the bag in the storage room and off to Nad's place.

"Melayu!" i said to Elina..
"Indon kot" she said
"Naaaaa... look at the tudung, ada mini pin.. Only malaysian wear tudung like that"

So we went closer .. of course I was right... hihihihi, and they're having lunch.. Nasi lemak okay kat tengah2 airport berkelah...

Arrived at Nad around 11... She bought a house there.. and the kids are British.

She said she tried to apply for Malaysian citizenship, but because she's a woman amrrying foreginer, and the kids were born outside, she has to wait for more than 2 years.. and they couldnt guarantee the applications would be approved. Sucks!

Then off we went for lunch..

My oh my.. it was another delicious one...

And the best salmon ever... OMG!!!!

Then we catch the next bus to the airport. beautiful airport...

Overall, this trip is a great one. the food is great, shopping is cheap, the companions are cool... I enjoyed it... Hope to go there again soon.

The flight was full.. they even took away Hasne's seat even though we already paid for it.. darn you MAS.

While I was waiting for the luggage at the conveyer belt..
Are you F4mil?
Err yes...

There, for the very first time, I met my reader/blogroller Along

We were on the same flight... Small world.

Asia Trip: Hong Kong First Sino Experience Part 3

Part 3 of 4. Day 3 of the 4 days.

A night before I was chatting with my dear friend, che yan. "Ko kat mane?"

"HK"

"Eee bestnyer.. i wish I could go there..."

"Datanglah...." i said half jokingly...

This morning I saw a tag and her status.. eh.. like seriously youre here? Woo hooo.. Apparently she took the last flight last night and arrived ard midnight. So i texted her "Im heading to Stanley now, see you in the afternoon?"

Usual activities... typical, out of 5, 2 will never received the postcards. whats up with POS malaysia? Rasa nak bom pejabat pos... eh nanti mesti kena tahan ISA cakap pasal nak bom.

So after the breakfast, we took the ferry to the HK island. We are planning to go to the Stanley market. The guide said never to miss it. Well the guide also said do visit the mongkok market and the peak, but yeah, we didnt do that.. tooo touristy..

I LOVE HK.. soo beautiful.. Move over singapore, I found my new fav city in asia... well if its not that expensive I think I would have love it more...

Ferry ride.. love the smell of the engine and the diesel.. reminded me of Penang...

We took the bus to Stanley (6, 6A, 6X or 260) from Exchange Square bus terminus in Central. I think its about 40 minutes ride. The journey was very winding. We sat upstairs, therefore we got kind of sick after a while.

On this part of an island, there thousand of stairs around... I saw one granma walkign down with some groceries.. She must have doing it on daily basis

Cable car to dont know where..

Another nice view onthe way there. This part of the island is less chaotic than the Kowloon. Even if you're in the city center (wan chai), its much better than Mongkok.

Phew finally we arrived...

Hmm liek Petaling Street.. or a smaller version of Chatuchak Market. 10 minute shere I'm already bored.. hihihiihih.. SO I wandered around.

Temple in front of the beach.

Stanley beach

The old houses

Back to the market for some shopping (I bought 2 items - fridge magnets and tshirt)

... and the we had lunch. One of the best seafood I ever had.. hmm mmmmm...

Then we went to the museum...I love this pic...

and headed back to the city center

Scary road...nail biting moment... the road is so thin, the busses barely missed each other.

Here is Stanley... Pretty far huh!

Then we parted again. Agree to meet after for dinner or after..

And I went to meet Akram

and Che yan...

we had tea..and we were like, damn I cant believe you're here..

and we continued shopping and shopping.. and yeah thats the tshirt I bought from stanley :p I have liek 5 of them which looks the same... so if you see my pic with only "one shirt".. its just that i have so many of them.. and i love wearing them :p

I would say HK is so much cheaper than KL for shopping. or even singapore.. esp for the branded items... But the food and accomodation are EXPENSIVE.

Asia Trip: Hong Kong First Sino Experience Part 2

Mabuhai ang kalayaan! Hindi ko alam. Ehh, baru pegi sehari dah pandai cakap pilipines. Mana taknye, celik2 mata kat luar dah riuh housekeepers bersembang..

Opened the curtain, saw mainland folk sleeping in the open.. bertaubat sekejap. hihihihi.

Nothing good on tv, even Thomas the train is in canton and no subtitle, so we really have to go out. Alas, not the case...

It was friday, so i told elina im going for the prayer.. wait for me and later we'll go out to the museum. Kowloon mosque is just 5 min walk from where we stayed.

Its huge, but mostly filled with the south asians. Even the sermon is in urdu. Not a very nice experince though... got molested on the way down to the ablution place.. Celaka punya bangla/paki.. Lenyap taubat aku.. hihiihih.

Went back, took a shower and change my cloth. Off we went to the museum. There's two museum side by side, one is historical museum, on is science. We only go the the hostrical. The entry wss like RM2, way cheaper than the Singapore museum

Its somewhat the Asian civilization museum in Singapore and we spent a couple of hour inside.

So many things to learnt, we skipped a lot of exhibitions, because mostly its the same with Malaysia/Singapore history and the people. :p They called Hokkien people as Hoklo though.

Then off we went to the main street for shopping. Wanted to go to the Kowloon market, but ive seen there's a lot of people everywhere.. SO we were like, urghh.. can we skip that?

So we decided to shop a little. H&M and Esprit, here we come.

Nope, not the halal one.. Just liek the Nederland, indo restaurant here is non halal.

Publik bank!! woo hoo...

Guardian is Mannings here.

Elina and I went on our own way and agreed to meet back at the hotel around 6.

Ard 6, Nad joined us and off we went to his hubby's event.
There's this Barclays cup tour.. The hubby was like, do you guys want to see the match? I can get you tickets? You could also meet the player afterward. Chelsea vs i dont know what.

*insert cricket sound effect here*

Football? hmmm no thanks.. We politely declined the offer.

Some mandatory posing with the cup, and off we went for dinner.

The result from the pose above.. only got it a week after :p

My failed attempt to look interested in football.

HK island from Kowloon.

The off we went to the island for dinner.
