Depok - Bogor

Took the train to bogor from the UI station. about Rp9,000 for the express train, Rp3,000 for standard train.

The 'station' or Halte. UI (pron - ooo eee, just like the sound chimpanzee made) = Universitas Indonesia.

Regular train. No seats.. everybody has to stand.

Note: The train double track system doesnt follow the road system. Therefore, when you cross the track, kindly look at the other way first (ie, look left-right-left),

The express train.

And its empty. Hmmmm.. It's not that expensive!

Leave your expensive shoes at home. Wear flip flops and shorts. It's gonna be messy.

Jakarta - Depok

Second last trip for this quarter.3 days trip.

This trip however, is not for leisure, nor work. Secret mission :p

- fav hobby, watching big birds =)

Afternoon flight. Better smelled plane this time. They must have read my previous review :p

Pretty full flight. Uneventful 2 hrs journey. A couple of turbulence in between, enough to made the auntie behind to loose her lunch.

Lunch - coffee - bam, landed! And to think that those stewardesses had to change uniform twice...

from the airport, went straight to Depok. Bad, bad, baddddd town. Take out the indonesians and put in the kelantanese, and you'll think that youre in Chow Kit/Kg Baru! Hi hik.

- Newly opened mall. Riot police was trying to calm the crowd down.

- the suburb where i stayed.

- elpiji is LPG as in Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

- bumped into friend at the airport on my way back home

- the loot!

Sayonara. Will see you again soon :p

Just Like Its Economy, the City here is gloomy

at night... To think that this city of 10 million inhabitants could be this dark is beyond me.

Scary. Its as dark as Taiping Lake garden at night. ehem ehem.

Other than that its a nice place to visit.

Dirgahayu tanah airku. Reminded me of the National Day in KL. How was it?

Monorail is coming to town. Thus would make our LRT system the most backward behind Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The Busway system. Double the price from the last time I rode on it. It's now Rp5000 per ride. Another excellent system that would put our public transport system to shame.

Pondok indah mall.

The interior reminded me of the Gardens, Midvalley.

The doves memberaki the pavement.

Happy shopper...

The Jakarta people (esp the ladies) are extremely good looking one. It's just that their fashion sense is a little bit ... weird (mismatch a lot!)

If we were to compare them with KL girls, its akin as comparing Aishwarya Rai vs KJ in Drag.

Jakarta Chick

Vs. KL Chick

Sigh, no wonder im still single....

Fast, Feast, Fist; Breaking one

Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Ramadhan 1429H.

Simple meal.. A&W. Well, it was pre dinner though. :p

I cant believe this stuff is more expensive than in KL. Rp10,000 whereas in KL it only cost RM2.50.

Hi hi, para karyawan telah diturunkan takhta di sini. Karyawan there means pekerja (labour), not penulis (author).

Off to senayan city for shopping baju raya.

The Mall = something like Suria KLCC. Minus the vietnamese, burmese, bangla and paki. But lots of indon though :p

Back empty handed. Wayyyyyyy too expensive leah. Singapore is cheaper *hint.

Mother of all Ketchup

and sambal. Tak basik kah?

First day of Ramadhan. I hope i will loose 60kg afterward!

Stop monkeying around. Im bored okay. Its hazy and nothing here.. hi hik.

Laut Jawa. If you squint small enough, you might be able to see Johor.

The beautifool unmanicured feet of mine.

Well, nothing happened pun. Was expected Pak Polisi to chase me out (or at least ask for uang kopi).

Note to myself. Next time to spend your Ramadhan, go somewhere COLD.
