SEAsiaTrip: Hồ Chí Minh: No More Free Accomodation After This

So at night we picked up Hasne and hubby at the hotel for shopping.

We brought them (chewah, we brought!) to the night market at Ben Than. We went crazy shopping for a shirt. Zee could speak Vietnamese and she knew a lot of sellers there. So we got out stuff at a very good price.

Sorry Aya, kedai dah tutup, tak boleh beli untuk Mia.

It was a new year's eve. And as usual, billion of motorcycles were on the road.

THen we had coffee... and after that I need to go to the restroom. And Zee met another Malaysians there. Small world.

So we had mini gathering.. I seriously need a haircut pronto. hihihihi

Second day's damages.

She said its a factory version (not imitation).. I dont know.. the quality is pretty good. ANd sure enough when I was in bangkok, the zipper was diffrent between the imitation and the factory made. The abercrombie shirt costed RM10 each. Those bagpackers 2 for RM120 (Crumpler and Deuter).

We didnt really stayed for the new year. We went back home and slept, and woke up when we heard the loud bang outside.. Fireworks.. Wished everybody happy new year and went back to sleep.

In the morning I made breakfast. After breakfast we Went to the ben than market to buy frogfishes, prawns, veggies for today's lunch. Zee said she's gonna cook sambal udang (prawn chili). I was like OMG! Im so proud of you

Oooo the taxi even take credit cards. Beat that Malaysian cabbies.. Overall, I think Malaysia have the worst taxi services in the whole South East Asia... and the people and government seems to be proud of them.

By 11 we were busy cooking and steaming and frying..

After lunch, we sent them back to the airport. See you tomorrow!!! in KL. Then off we went for shopping and spa and a massage.

Second day's major shopping items. Cheapest in SEAsia. Fissler. Not available In Malaysia. Made in Germany. Btw, ive converted her to Fissler, WMF and Henckels now. Away from periuk cap buaya. Tak tahu masak takpe, yg penting dapor ko meletop!

The next day I went back. Hope to see her again later this year (2011). But then in April she said she's coming back. She got offered for an assignment in Singapore. Then she came back to town for 2 weeks to process her work permit etc.. and then she told me she attended an interview at Tesco.. and got a job! I was like huh?

Now she's back in KL... so no more Saigon trip for me.. but I havent been to Chu Chi tunnel.. *hentak2 kaki* :(

SEAsiaTrip: Saigon: Việt cộng on the Loose

After Penang, and after those guests left, it's Christmas. So I had a break a little. Then, we planned to have a small gathering at my place. We had Turkey for lunch.. yummeh.

Aci tak nak tulis dalam BM. Bosan la asyik tulis dalam BI, dah la ayat tunggang langgang.

Lawatan tahunan dimulai selepas beberapa peringatan tegas dari tuan empunya badan. Ko tak kesian ke aku kat sini sorang sorang!

"Ado aku kesah..." ringan mulut ini untuk menjawab.. hihihiih. Tapi takpa lah, smemntara masih ada rezeki untuk mengembara dan kekuatan, jangan lah ditangguhkan, kelak akan kesal.

Tulis BM pun ayat cam sial jugak.. okay lah stick to BI.


The flight was at 2.45pm. As usual uneventful. Well except during the meal time. These two hanjing kept on calling for the stewardess "excuse me, where's our meal". and the parents just let them be. Dah la muka mcm PW, perangai pun macam beliau. Annoying, I think MH should stop having cheap fare. hihihihihi.

The meal was not that good anyway. DOnt ask me whats that. Looked like ham, tasted salty.

Arrived at 3.40p, smooth immigration as usual. And zee already waiting for me outside. 3 years it started to look like a routine already. THen we made a pit stop at the Malaysian Restaurant to pick up our lunch (huh, I already eaten - twice, one at home, the other on the flight).

Oh btw, she moved to a new place already.

Now, its kinda look like a urbanite place compared to prev apt (which looked like granny place with bulky furnitures)

She also had working kitchen *gasp*

and well stocked fridge *fainted*. Who are you? what have you done to zee? That horrible thing just laughed hysterically.. then I knew it's zee (by that trademark laugh)! *phew*

This is what I brought from KL, 10 packets of Maggie noodles, 2 packs of Ramly Burger's patties, 2 boxes of baby formula (?!)

Then we had our lunch. I was forced to eat.. *bloated*

Then we went to the other Malaysian's place. To deliver the formula. We did some groceries and headed back home.

By 6 (its laready get dark by then) we headed to the town. Bought some dinner. TO be frank I was already full. But heck.. We went to halal saigon.

Saw org kampung elly. This pakcik travelled from sekinchan to work in this restaurant. Where's your wife? In Malaysia. How frequent you went back home? Once a year. *pengsan*

There's a lot of halal food around already compared to the last time.

Tastewise? Hmmm.. I reserved my comment.

Hah nganga luas2.. Gaya seorang expatriate. She is so gonna kill me for posting this picture. Then we continued our Will & Grace marathon.
