Bahasa Penang dan Bahasa Kedah

Pernah dibincangkan dahulu bahawa Bahasa utara mempunyai beberapa dialeknya sendiri:

1 - Dialek Perlis

2 - Dialek Kedah Pekat (Kami naik mot pi pekan taksat ni)

3 - Dialek Kedah Standard (bahasa utara yg biasa anda dengari dituturkan sehingga ke Kuala Kangsar)

4 - Dialek Pulau Pinang (seberang perai ada yg menggunakan dialek kedah standard)

Untuk pemahaman, dikepilkan 2 video untuk perbandingan.

Ini adalah bahasa Penang. Pertuturannya berbunga2/berlagu dan selalunya diikuti dengan gerak tangan/kepala.

Dan ini adalah bahasa utara standard (Kedah Standard).

Bears Stearns was bought for $2/ per share, holy cow! (It was $160++ per share last year.)

And Pak Leman (Lehman Brothers)is weakening now.

Will the fed cut the rate to 2%?

The problem is, even with the rate cut, the retail credits (principally the credit cards) rate stays. Would it help? Short term period, perhaps.

Better stock up with gold / platinum / palladium now. Your money would worth zilch soon.

More about the fast food (KFC) behind the scene.

1. Should you get a proper plate (melamine type) vs paper plate, dont be flattered. The fact is, that particular restaurant has low customers turnaround. That translate to you might be getting old chicken (been frozen for eons) and yesterday's coleslaw :p
2. If you're a vegetarian, the mashed potato is off the menu. The gravy is made by chicken essences.
3. Except for the thighs, no two parts of the chicken should be served together. That means you cant have 2 wings or 2 drumsticks on the plate
4. Love eating nuggets? Well, it was made from the leftovers (gizzards, butt, skins and 10% real meat - translate : offal). Heavy artificial flavors are added to 'cover' the taste. Yum yum!(I know syaf loves nuggit)
5. During closing time, our competitor (McD) would throw all the leftovers and doesnt allow its employee to tapau that. KFC is the other way around. Back then, every nite we gave the leftovers to homeless people at the Komtar's bus stop (Supa cool).
6. (This only apply to mamak restaurant) You might want to order your beverages sans ices. The what-u-thought-a-tamarind paste, might not be it (tamarind paste). Im not joking!

Update: Just got back from the KFC. Why do they sell fish nowadays? (Fish fingers, fish burgers)KFC ooo, Kentucky Fri*ed CHICKEN.


Huh? Could u imagine how's the chikin tastes like.
