Seriously, how to win?

The code is under the tab, the problem is how to get to the tab without injuring yourself? Unless you cut the can in half. Like yeah I carry scisscor everywhere I go.

Fail!!!

Old Skool

Hmmm.. masih ada permintaan rupanya. Pakcik juruniaga tu cakap sebulan ada la 50 kotak dia jual.. Hi hik.

Drama Minggu Ini: Sepagi di Pasar BB Sentul

I suatu pagi yg hingar, sedang enak kami menikmati sarapan, terdengar hilai tawa makcik2 di sebelah kanan. Apabila daku menoleh, keilhatan segerombolan makcik2 berusia berpakaian sedondon. Masign2 memperagakan beg Carlo Rino atau beg Guy Laroche petaling street, beserta sepatu2 bonia mereka.

"Eh, bila pulak ada meeting wanita umno ni?" ujarku spontan.

Arimi mencelah... "aku rasa diorang group marhaban lah"

Oooooo...
Bukan sahaja hilai tawa mereka kedengaran satu dewan, malah bau bauan avon jua memenuhi ruang makan pagi itu (ralat: arimi cakap ini adalah bau one drop perfume).

Sekonyong2nya datang seorang lagi yg kurasakan ahli kumpulan, tetapi memakai persalinan yg lain. Eh, awat tak habaq hari ni ada marhaban? Ina tak siap apa pun...

A drama to be unfold, maka dengan automatiknya telinga daku memasang antena gelombang FM.

Dik Na ooi, ni Kak Julita nak habaq sikit. Dah lama dah pendam benda ni. Nak cakap salah, tak cakap pun salah. Ya lah kita dok kenai sejak dari zaman Bakat lagi, ni rasa berat mulut nak habaq, tapi tu lah ahli2 lain semua dok bising ni.

Ha Kak Julita, awatnya? habaq mai lah. Toksah risau.

Alhamdulillah. Baguih la kalau camtu. Lagi satu, baju boria tu kena la bagi balik no. Nak bagi kat ahli baru.. Hazl1ndaw4ti Mat Is4. Sedap dia ngaji hang tau dak. Baju pun saiz sama dah. Terima kasih noo..
*sentap, sambil menyedup rokok sedalam dalamnya, dan mengembuskan asap perlahan lahan beserta keluhan kecil*

Group2 marhaban beredar sambil membawa sejambak bunga besar pemberian tuan rumah beserta nasi dan lauk2 bungkus beserta bunga telur yg disonglap ke dalam beg.

Ruangan menjadi sepi seketika...

Iklan Sekejap: Wid Kookies

NEW ENTRIES AFTER THIS ENDORSEMENT. Will be above here till 31st May 2011.

I dont like cupcakes. But I love cookies. But I dont like buying from the supermarket. Therefore I sually bought mine at Famous Amos. I thought that was the best cookie ever, until I tasted Wid's cookies.

Well, to be frank, I saw her album and I was like, meh, everyone could bake cookies! I bet the taste gonna be the same like Famous A. Months went by and one day I decided, what the heck, free delivery (her hubby works in KLCC), so I ordered 2 (beli 1 melampau lah pulak kan rasanya)

Opened the lid, smelled marvelous.. dang... then I took the first bite.

O.M.G. WTF.. so nice!

Then you'll find a chunky choc in the middle of the cookies. What more could you ask for?

One jar is definitely not enough. The cookie is crunchy, buttery with generous amount of nuts and the smell? gosh, my fav thing is to open the jar and take a deep breath on the cookies. Bliss!

I've tried three nuts (pecan, hazel and macadamia) and my fav is pecans and macadamia. Yum yum..

Pricewise, Famous A is RM7.90-RM8.90 per 100gm, but as of now the price for her cookies is RM27 for 300gm (RM9/100). Quite cheap (for me).

I kept one jar in the office and when only when there's no one around I would open it and eat.. hihihihi.

So if you want to order, please go to her website:
http://ovengigs.blogspot.com/search/label/Cookies

Hah hok ni insyallah takde bahan2 terlarang. Well, actually its not good for you because you will curse like hell eating this (sedap sial... haram ko letak candu ka, etc). hih i

Antara Dua Akhbar

Dibaham anjing

'Bukan kena baham anjing'

Ketua Polis Daerah Ranau, Deputi Superintendan Suhaimi Hasim, berkata laporan perubatan dari Hospital Ranau mengesahkan mangsa mati akibat lemas, bukan meninggal kerana digigit anjing.

News that made me cringe

Strays allegedly caught and shot in full view of children

RESIDENTS who witnessed an alleged open-shooting of stray dogs by the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) have expressed shock and disgust over the inhumane act.

The shooting was said to have been carried out in residential areas and in the midst of children who were walking to a nearby kindergarten.

The residents are now urging the council and the Penang government to review the method used to dispose off the strays because open-shooting could pose a danger to the public.

A witness to the incident who wants to be known only as Rowe, said that of late, there were many strays roaming at Sunway Mutiara in Batu Maung but the animals did not cause any harm to anyone.

She said that she saw a few council workers shooting the dogs in her neighbourhood a few days ago, leaving behind “a trail of blood.”

“When they arrived, the dogs were sleeping under cars parked outside the houses here. They lured one of the dogs out, wrestled it to the ground and shot it several times in its head despite the dog not behaving aggressively,” she said.

Another resident, who wished to be known as Shu, a homemaker, said her three young children had witnessed the brutal slaying and they were now traumatised by the incident.

“What if the bullets had gone astray? The children could have been harmed,” she said.

American Sarah Rinkenberger, 32, who resides in the same area, said she was not at home during the shooting but she learnt about it from neighbours.

“I’m surprised such a method is still being used in this country. Back in America, strays are caught and sent to the pound but they are never shot in the open,” she said.

Rinkenberger, who helps to manage a language centre here with her husband, said it was her personal belief that God created both humans and animals, therefore dogs must be treated in a good way.

A spokesperson from the MPPP’s Urban Services, Public Health and Licensing Department denied that the council had shot the stray dogs in such a manner.

However, the spokesperson said that shooting would be carried out if there was no other way.

“We are trying to use humane methods such as tranquillisers and we have applied for licensing from the police last year but we have yet to hear from them,” the spokesperson said, stressing that the department would only act based on complaints from the public.

A non-governmental organisation called Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) Penang coordinator Chuah Kok Han said the alleged shooting should not be justified by any party.

“It is wrong to use such a method to cull animals. MPPP must stop doing this and the state Veterinary Services Department must ensure that it is stopped immediately,” said Chuah.

He added that nowadays most people no longer tolerate cruelty towards dogs.

“We are a civilised society and we expect relevant authorities such as the local councils to behave in a civilised manner when it comes to handling animal-related issues,’’ said Chuah.

Chuah also said that MDDB Penang plans to meet Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng over the issue.

Children’s Protection Society Penang secretary Magdeline Ng-Leong said the safety of children should not be compromised under whatever circumstances.

“The council should use other methods instead of openly shooting the strays in the presence of children.”

Penang Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) administrator Lily Leng said that stray dogs should not be destroyed in full view of the public.

“We received endless complaints about dogs being shot in public and I think there should be other ways to handle stray dogs instead of shooting them openly.

“Not only is it dangerous, the whole ordeal is disturbing and heart-wrenching to watch. Strays should be put down in private and not in the open,” she said.

News: Gym ends woman's membership for 'obscene' attire

HAVING your gym membership terminated because of your exercise gear is probably the last thing you would expect to happen.

As ludicrous as it may sound, this was the exact bombshell that landed on a 47-year-old administrator by one of the largest privately-owned health clubs in the world.

CAROL LOKE from Cheras was given this 'rude awakening' by Fitness First Cheras Leisure Mall outlet earlier this month.

Even more outrageous was the fact she was informed about the decision at a roadside food stall by the management of the gym.

The mother of two who goes to the gym at least three times a week was stopped by three of the gym staff outside the outlet as she was heading there for her regular workouts on May 16.

"The staff, one of whom is the manager of the gym known as Maggie, stopped me and told me that they wanted to have a talk with me immediately. They then took me to a tea stall nearby where she bluntly told me I was no longer allowed into the gym as they have terminated my membership."

Woke up pretty late for my 1.30pm flight. Already freaked out by then. Arrived at the airport by 12.40 pm. Went straight to the departure gate. Saw it was empty. I was like .. sudah, terlepas kapal lah ni (darn, did I missed the plane). Why did they let me pass through just now? No one around to ask either. So I just wait. 10 mintues went by, the crowds start building up.. phew! It was Chinese Ney year's trip, and the plane was like 1/2 full.

1 and a 1/2 hour later I arrived in Suvarnabhumi. Damn there's a lot of people at the immigrations queue. Took me 40 min to pass through the gate. Went straight to the train station.. Again, it's empty! Scary man!

But eventually, the crowds built up.. Cost you about THB$80 (MYR$8) from the airport to the transit station before you take the city BTS. Compare to MYR$25 for KLIA-Sentral. And yet we complained thats not enough tourist in Malaysia.

Yaya and the gang were already there a day before. After I arrived and settled down, we went out for dinner.

To the Usman restaurant somewhere nearby.

We were feasting like there's no tomorrow.

Seko2 teruja dengan placenta arnab.. yuck!

Then we meet Fairuz. Bangkok residence. Na, actually he was my junior in college. So he showed us bangkok night life!

Oh btw I got a room next to this creepy room. It has a talisman and some prayign words on the door, and every night when I walked pass the door, I could hear loud scratchign from inside.. hihihihihi.

Then the next day we went to Chatuchak. Like seriously they bought a lot! They even had to send 250kg of stuff back home by container. Like crazy!!!!

By 4pm I was already restless. Now i remembered why I like to travel alone...

They said they also had enough for the day, but after we went back, they continued shopping at MBK. like wtf?

By then we're already knackered, and no way that those divas gonna take the BTS back. So we took the tuk tuk. 4 people crammed into one.

One the way back, we saw the red shirt protestors heading towards city center. Ouch! Its only been 2-3 months since the last riot. So we were kind of worried.

Luckily ther demo was controlled and peaceful. Plus, the Thais would never hurt foreigners. Unlike abu sayyaf who would not hesitate to behead you! hihiihi.

They asked me to join them for shopping, mostly because they didnt know how to take the train.. I turned them down politely.. Well my exact words were "Hell no!"

After swimming, massage (its pretty cheap like RM80 for one hour in Ascott, where could you get that rate in KL) and nap, I met fairuz and shazril for dinner. So its kind of PPP reunion (one junior and one senior). Both are working there right now, and dont think they gonna come back anytime soon.

And they're fluent in Thais as well. Damn! Shame on me... So we had dinner, gossipping, coffee... and by midnight we went back home.

Bangkok traffic somewhere near the office.

The next day I dropped by the office briefly. Ana was there but I didnt managed to meet her.

Something never changed abt Bangkok, Saigon and Jakarta. The wires are everywhere.

You could pratically touch them and get electrocuted!

Our flight back was around 5pm. They as usual was out for shopping and facial. As for me, I just chilled out by the pool, read books, and enjoying the holiday my way...

By 3 we're ready to leave and my god look at their luggages (I only had one backback which I didnt have to check in). And those were after the 1/4 of tonne shipment a day before!

Then we went back to KL.

When I was in Amsterdam, Jan was kind enough to brought me around and feed me babi ketjap with fabolous food. So when I found out that her brother's was in this region, I offered my place.

Koen and Petah was here for about a week. They went to Malacca and Singapore in between.

Fresh fruit for breakfast.

Breakfast is served.

Koen n Petah in Putrajaya.

So, basically I borught them around Putrajaya, KLCC< Pavilion, KL tower, bird park, Batu Caves, IKEA.

And bukit bintang and Genting. They've been to Bangkok, Bali and Australia previously.

So KL was their last pit stop before heading home for Christmas.
=========================================

Next, phew, what a busy month, Zoow was back in town. So I decided to have a little reunion with the others who worked nearby.

Managed to catch Hajar and Linda. The rst was not interested :(... hihihihi, no lah, I specifically keep it small (max5) so that its easy to plan.

Disregard the fat model in this pic.. hihihih

Linda was talking abt cookie monster..

She was only in town briefly, and her schedule was tight. Glad to be able to meet her twice! and introduced her the durian chocolate cake. woo hoo... Till we meet you again Zoow.
=========================================

Lastly and recently, Lusi's sister was in town.

I met her in Melbourne last time, so when she's in town for vacation, I'd become the secondary tourist guide.

So, same routine.. KLCC-Pavilion, Bt caves.

Dinner in BB

But this time I brought her to the temples. She wanted to pray, so I sent her to about 5 temples around KL.

Also I met her friend here. Turned out he was my junior in IU. What a small world.
